Monday Morning Musing – June 2nd

So it’s June. It’s June!! Holy moly time flies when you are having fun.

I snapped this photo this weekend at my favorite place. My quiet little secret garden. I love these plants, not sure what they are but they feel like velvet. They are so soft. And the bees love them!

I just realized how short of a time I have left before life changes and location changes. Soon there will be a new Etsy store with my name on it and business cards. Oh how scary and exciting all at the same time. And photos entered into the fair, so so excited about that!

Have a blessed day!

A Busy Bee – August 22nd

This little bee, well actually he was a big bee, was buzzing about, not concerned with me. Buzzing and buzzing, little legs covered in pollen, and once full, back off to the hive he went. Then back again to start his hurried work all over again.

Kind of reminds me what I am like each day, go to work, and I get so busy that the day flys by before I know it. But every once in a while I gaze out my window and the clouds and blue skies. And I am so captivated by them that I am pulled out of my busy little life, and I catch a glimpse of what life should really be like.

Have a blessed day!

Stars – July 30th

Stars by Sara Teasdale

Alone in the night
On a dark hill
With pines around me
Spicy and still,

And a heaven full of stars
Over my head,
White and topaz
And misty red;

Myriads with beating
Hearts of fire
That aeons
Cannot vex or tire;

Up the dome of heaven
Like a great hill,
I watch them marching
Stately and still,

And I know that I
Am honored to be
Of so much majesty.
