Watching the sun rise over the mountains. It had been years. So I stopped on the side of the road. Couple hours later my car broke down but still this sunrise over the mountains was awesome.

Snapped this shot of beautiful Chicago last weekend. Such a beautiful city! Hope to return soon. I just love walking around this city. I wish I could bottle it and bring some of it back to Missouri with me. But alas, I can’t…
Just in case you are wondering that lovely tall building in the middle of the picture is the Hancock Building. Also has a awesome restaurant in it called the Signature Room, really, really good food. And it has beautiful views of the city at night. The lights of the city actually twinkle, kind of like you are above the stars.
We are prepping for a weekend of rain and freezing rain and thunderstorms down here. Should be very interesting. It’s been so warm here, that 11 inches of snow have vanished in a few days, but that’s what you get when it goes from being really, really cold to the 60’s in a few days. Oh well, you know what they say: if you don’t like the weather, wait an hour it will change. And here comes the rain…
I hope wherever you are the Christmas shopping is done and gifts are wrapped and its a beautiful blue skies day!
Have a blessed day!

I am home! Oh how I missed sweet Missouri, for so many reasons. As I sat in the car and watched the farms and fields go by I can’t help but notice just how much I don’t miss the hustle and bustle of Chicago anymore. It’s crazy how it changes, not that I don’t love Chicago, it will always have a very special place in my heart. It’s just there are so many reason I am happy to be down here instead. I enjoyed Minneapolis, it was a beautiful city but way to cold. So now as I sit and listen loud rolling thunder and listen to rain drops against my window, I will rest and relax…
Have a blessed day!

I have travels upcoming, travels to a place I have been a lot and travels to a place I have never been. I travel to lovely Minneapolis, Minnesota in less then two weeks for work. I have never been there before and I am excited to see the city, and for me, since I hate cold, at least it isn’t in December. Unfortunately there will be travel to Chicago in December for a wedding, might need to break out the boots and coats for this trip. I do hope I get to see some Minneapolis, and maybe see some changing leaves!
Have a blessed day!
Heather
